Ready for a fresh design that would portray their product in the best light possible, D4 Advanced Media partnered with Ascel Bio, a disease forecasting and outbreak warning company. Using their existing logo as a color palette, we implemented WordPress, a powerful content management system, and built their website using several APIs to display real time data on the home page of the site.

The site that D4 created is responsive, allowing a variety of users to navigate and use the site with ease. At the top of the homepage there is a live feed of the most up to date outbreaks and alerts for disease.

Each alert features a multicolored heat bar that graphically represents the danger of a certain headline and a link. When new alerts are created, they are displayed prominently at the top of the page. Below the heat bars is an advanced disease tracking tool that lets you track diseases by state throughout the U.S.

Ascel Bio’s developers created the above tool and we integrated it into the website, ensuring there was no loss of functionality. Below this tool is a YouTube feed that displays Disease Cast’s latest videos. Whenever a new YouTube video is uploaded to their channel, it is automatically added to their video feed.
